Betacular is completely free of charge and enables you to sign into your Betfair account and place or cancel bets like you would on Betfair. Download and install it by clicking http://betacular.com/mobile/ from within your Android web browser.
If you have never installed an app from outside the Android Market before, you will be informed that, for security reasons, installation has been blocked. In that case you will have to allow installation of applications from unknown sources in your application settings (tick the box next to Unknown sources).
The current Android Market policies prohibit offering betting applications directly through the market. Because of this you will not find the full version on the market itself. However, a view-only version of the Betfair app that complies with the market policies in that it does not allow you to engage in any actual betting activity. So, if you are just interested in informing yourself about the markets and odds offered on Betfair, you can install the viewer app directly from their official website.
